Indian CuisineOnce again this year, the India Summer Days will feature chai, rose milk, mango lassi, and other Indian specialties. These will be offered by the German-Indian Society, among others, so that visitors can truly experience the flavors of India right here on site. After all, the key to understanding Indian cuisine lies in its diverse cooking methods and the use of many spices.

At Tulsi Palace, you'll find Indian dishes such as vegetable curry, baked vegetables in chickpea flour batter, lentils, samosas (vegetable pastries), and basmati rice.

Yogi Ice
Yoga and ice cream? How do they go together? At Yogi-Eis, the ice cream is homemade and vegan; the simple, natural recipe—based on cashews and coconut milk—was developed by a yoga monk. They also offer sugar-free options that use dates as a sweetener.

Kulfiwala
A kulfiwala is a traditional Indian street vendor who sells handmade kulfi (a creamy, firm ice cream made from milk, nuts and spices) in cone-shaped moulds or on a stick.
