Starting Friday, July 24, 2026, as part of “India Weeks Karlsruhe,” the exhibition “Discovering Indian Art and Artists” will run for four weeks (Tuesdays through Sundays, starting at 6 p.m. each day), offering visitors the chance to immerse themselves—free of charge—in a world of vibrant colors, subtle symbolism, and an exciting blend of tradition and modernity. The opening reception on Friday, July 24, 2026, at 6 p.m., will also serve as a celebration of the sixth anniversary of the “Indu Art Gallery” at Schattenstraße 7 in Karlsruhe-Daxlanden.
“Discovering Indian Art and Artists,” curated by artist Anuradha Nimbalkar and Dr. Manoj Nimbalkar, takes visitors on a colorful journey to the heart of India, from masterfully preserved traditions to expressive contemporary works that bring identity, spirituality, and cultural connection to life. Color takes center stage here, appealing not only to the eye but also to the soul. Through their works, the artists explore Indian culture, drawing inspiration from their roots and their creative exchange with the European art scene.
IIn recent years, the “Indu Art Gallery” has established itself as a vibrant hub for exchange and cultural encounters in Karlsruhe—a place where Indian, German, and European cultures come together and blend.
