Even the ancient Hindu philosophers—in the Bhagavad Gita—paid great tribute to puppeteers, comparing God to a puppeteer and the universe to a puppet stage. The entire universe is, in a sense, controlled by three threads: “Satta,” “Raja,” and “Tama.”

This year, Ravi Bhatt will present a unique puppet show titled Indian Culture Puppet Art Heritage. During the performance, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn more about this art form, which is deeply rooted in Indian culture. Indian puppetry has a long tradition and is performed using a variety of puppet types and techniques from different regions of India. Let yourself be enchanted. The performance will take place on the small stage at the India Summer Village.
